Professionals
We employ Client Support Specialists and Senior Client Support Specialists on a permanent, permanent part-time and project basis. We are currently looking to add professionals in Shelton, CT and Chicago, IL and are also interested in candidates in the Naples, FL area.
Client Support Specialists evaluate coverage and provide the protection and advocacy clients deserve in what is often a confusing and even adversarial healthcare environment.
Background
Knowledge of and experience with health insurance claims, benefits and/or medical billing critical. Candidates must be able to decipher explanation of benefits statements and provider billing statements and know how to resolve mistakes or problems in a practical manner. Excellent computer skills are required.
Senior Client Support Specialists have broad knowledge of the field and are able to assist clients in planning for their future healthcare coverage needs and also work on significant disputes.
Good candidates are those who have knowledge of healthcare coverage from a professional perspective, are problem solvers, are comfortable dealing directly with clients and are well organized project managers. Such individuals might include utilization review nurses and senior claims specialists who have worked for health insurance companies, case managers, insurance brokers who have served the individual and small group market, and others who may have served in an advocacy role for a private, non-profit or governmental organization and dealt frequently with healthcare coverage issues.
